Report Review

Dear Harbour Cove Management, We have been docking our boat at Harbour Cove Marina in Somers Point for over three years, and one of the main reasons we chose your marina was its location, the pool, and, most importantly, the sense of community it created. The pool was the heart of the marina’s social life. It was a warm, welcoming place where boaters could gather, meet new people, exchange stories and boating experiences, and build lasting friendships. It brought people together and created a friendly, inviting atmosphere that made Harbour Cove more than just a place to dock a boat. It made the marina feel like a community. Since the pool was closed last season, that sense of community has noticeably diminished. The marina now feels more transient, with fewer opportunities for boaters to interact and connect beyond those docked immediately nearby. The pool was the natural gathering place that encouraged people to socialize and made the overall experience at Harbour Cove special. I strongly encourage you to reconsider the decision to keep the pool closed and make reopening it a priority for next season. Restoring the pool would go a long way toward bringing back the friendly, welcoming environment that so many of us valued and enjoyed. We hope you will recognize how important the pool is to the marina’s atmosphere and to the overall experience of its boaters. We would love to see Harbour Cove return to being the vibrant, social, and inviting community that made us proud to call it our marina. Thank you for considering our feedback.
