The Marina is OK the staff is great the food is good. WHAT IS REALLY BAD.. I have been there numerous times over the last 6 months, at least 4 times a month and in the spring almost daily.
THE BAD... THEY ALLOW SMOKING INSIDE THE FISHING AREA, EACH time I have been there there seems to be a couple people who decide to SMOKE CIGARS and CIGS< like a chain. one right after the other.. THE SMOKE GETS SO BAD inside the fishing area that most people have to go outside or leave.. There are a couple CIGAR SMOKERS who are there most evenings that actually close windows and have cigar smoking contest inside.. THE STAFF DOES NOTHING as THEY say smoking is allowed.. IT would be great if THEY HAD COMMON DECENCY and respect for others to smoke outside or just not smoke for a while.. I AM A EX SMOKER and I KNOW HOW THE HABIT CAN GET BUT I also respected others right especially in a recreation area to do my smoking somewhere else. IF NOT FOR THE SMOKERS INSIDE I WOULD GIVE IT A 5 STAR but the STATE ALLOWS THEM TO RUIN IT FOR EVERYONE ELSE as it is a STATE OWNED FACILITY.
