The location of Clearwater Beach Marina is great, being near the beach and numerous restaurants. That's the positive. On the constructive side, the App they use for access to showers and the docks after hours doesn't work and we finally gave up after numerous attempts with the staff. As a result, we were unable to use the showers while we were there, and we had to \"jump around\" the gate to get back to our boat after dinner. The electric hook-ups were down-right dangerous with exposed wiring being a shock hazard. The 50 A power at Clearwater Beach is only 208V and drops lower as more boats run AC. We had to run our generator at the dock to keep the boat cool during the day because our AC kept throwing low voltage warnings and was tripping out with the shore power. They do mention that in the description on Dockwa, so we were not surprised about the power. The docks themselves are falling apart with no fenders to be found and thick growth of barnacles to scratch your gelcoat. We had a great time with our friends while we were there, but I don't think we will be back...
