Beautiful, great weather, good fishing, clean park, courteous staff. Great experience.
Great staff! Docks were good, easy on and off. Staff went above and beyond. Will be back
Awesome receptionist and dock captain. Thanks!
Always a great experience! The guys there are the best!
The staff at this marina is always very friendly and helpful. We keep our boat there each time we come to HH.
GREAT SERVICE, FRIENDLY FOLKS!
great location poorly maintained facility
Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Easy in and out from dock area and plenty of room at the fuel dock!
Good! Attentive and experienced at the dock Stormy night and they checked we were all ok
The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Other than that there isn't much good to say. The marina is in the boondocks, the current is wicked stiff and the channel forms a wind tunnel at the dock. Most traffic doesn't honor the no wake zone, so prepare to be rocked.
Small quiet place With limited dock space. Great restaurant. Nice people😊
Tony was very helpful and we will be back,
Friendly staff Great restaurant Scallops worth the trip
Excellent . Quiet , simple place . Excellent Harbormaster . Many Dolphin playing next to the dock . The restaurant on the site of the marina serves excellent food with good service . The hostess , however , is rude .
Very nice people and good docking.
Nice people and great service
Very helpful person and good service
Fantastic Staff! Will definitely come back!
The employee were very helpful, friendly and professional. Marina was clean and pool was wonderful during this heat wave.
It was very easy to book online. The people were friendly, professional and efficient.
Friendly staff convenient location
Super nice people, but no mooring inside Marina, too shallow for 4 foot draft, need to be on T.
Great people good sockage
4th time stopping for an overnight on our 42' sailboat Alaina. Excellent facilities, great, friendly staff. Easy in and out on fuel dock.
Five stars aren’t enough for this fabulous location. Besides the numerous amenities and the breathtaking beauty of the natural Low Country waterfront landscape, the hospitality provided by the Turner family and their staff is second to none. Whether we’re visiting the island by boat or by RV, Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort and Marina will always be our first choice!
There are 2 separate boat areas at the marina. We docked on the backside of the a long dock, which worked fine for us. Near the end of the dock, more electric hook ups in progress but not yet completed. Pool, laundry, showers nice (Restaurant in the same building). Many watersports available. The staff are incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and helpful!!
Beautiful amenities great crew
Nice stay, Calm night so the face dock was nice and quiet. Nice friendly staff.
In the age of corporate acquisitions and automated booking, It is wonderfully refreshing to come across a family owned and operated marina that prides it’s self on providing the absolute best customer experience available. So is the case with Hilton head Harbor Marina and RV resort. On Hilton Head Island. Owned by Tony Turner and family. Though the Dockwa listing of terms prompted a few concerns, a quick conversation with the marina immediately put those to rest. From the welcoming assistance as we approached to dock to the gracious shove off and thank you for visiting Tony and staffed went out of their way to ensure that we were well taken care of and that all our needs were see to. Through the myriad of marinas we visited on our way south from Maine, Hilton Head Harbor Marina and RV Resort has been our favorite. Treat yourself to genuine southern hospitality.
Friendly helpful people. The T head is out in the open ICW and is rough on a windy night.
Staff was very helpful, I would highly recommend a visit or stay...
Do not try to dock here at low tide if your draft is over ~3 feet. Trying to go to our assigned space on the inside of the fuel dock, we were hard aground. Dockmaster helped with lines so we could eventually get to the dock after the rising tide.
Not somewhere I would recommend. Right on ICW channel, so many boat wakes. North wind brings waves against dock. Folks just not familiar with boats except fishing boats. Pump out broken.
Dark hands were excellent. Would be nice if the restaurant Was open
Excellent service by Dockmaster Morgan!
The staff at Hilton Head Marina can't be praised high enough They could not be more helpful
Great place to leave a boat for the week and friendly staff
The marina was GREAT! Very well kept, beautiful area, and very helpful staff! We will use this marina again for sure!
Lovely facility staffed by fantastic people. A major drawback for us was the water level at low tide. This limited our use of the boat to a couple of hours before and after low tide.
Seth the Dockmaster was very accommodating and helpful!
On Monday, May 24, 2021, we arrived at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort with our Mainship 430 trawler. We booked the stay through Dockwa, which included our boat details, weeks in advance. Our plan was to secure the boat and visit locally with friends for a week before a quick trip to California. We left the boat at this marina last fall for a week on the outside fuel dock had no issues. When approaching the marina in May, we were initially directed to tie up to the fuel dock. While checking in at the office, we were given a slip assignment inside the marina basin. Because we've only seen small boats (15-25 feet) in the basin, I questioned if our larger boat would be ok in the basin. I was told the first few slips are fine for our size boat. We left the face dock and made our way to the entrance of the basin at minimum speed. We were about 90 minutes past low tide. At the middle of the entrance, we went aground with impact to the port propeller. Unfortunately, the ground was not soft. We managed to back up and return to the fuel dock. A Sea Tow boat happened to pass after witnessing our situation and advised us not to enter for at least 2 more hours. When we returned to the fuel dock, I inquired about the entrance to the basin. The dock staff member stated the channel is 8 feet deep and 20 feet wide. Several hours later, we entered the basin and found our assigned slip. After securing the boat and leaving the marina, we received an email from the marina advising we may not want to run our air conditioning because we might suck in silt or plug mud at low tide. Although we appreciate the warning, we were concerned about low tide. We returned the next morning to find the boat firmly aground at low tide. The aft end of the boat was lifted approximately 18 inches and the stern lines were strained by the pressure of a lifted boat secured to a dock now sitting in the mud. We immediately returned to the office to request an assignment on the fuel dock outside the basin. At the next high tide, we moved the boat back to the fuel dock. We are facing considerable expense for our prop and shaft as well several weeks delay waiting for repairs.
Nice stay. The staff is exceptional and we had very little waking even though we're on the ICW and the marina's fuel dock. The facility is very nice with two pools and a hot tub. The restaurant was just OK for the prices charged and the taco truck provided a decent lunch. It was fun watching ask the tourists before and after their adventures. The only negative is that the area is very isolated and difficult without a car. We tried to use our bikes, but the very busy road with no bike paths wasn't comfortable. All and all, we had a relaxing stay and would recommend to fellow boaters.
The WiFi didn’t connect the water is off they parked us on a fuel dock not being able to sleep because of the waves restaurant would not serve takeout never got codes for amenities would not stay here again
Nice and quiet, easy in and out. No shopping but a good restaurant with great views. Seth the dock master does a great job! Only negative are the bright lights that light up the whole area. We love dark skies and dark salons/bedrooms.
Caution! Listed approach and dock depths are for the fuel dock only, the marina itself is very shallow, 4 ft draft will be on the bottom at low tide. The facilities are great though, a park like setting.
Staff at the marina was super nice and helpful. The restaurant was excellent as well
Awesome family atmosphere. Everyone helpful and approachable. Every employee greets you. If you're docking, employees close help you. Top notch facilities.
Great staff and very professional. Seth does a great job making sure you are taking care of.
My wife wanted to go somewhere for our anniversary in our Dutch Star Motor home but didn’t want to go far. So we drove to our favorite RV resort, which happens to be 4 miles down the rode from our home. Great weekend staycation. Super friendly staff. Steff the Harbour Master fixed our problem we had with dockage. Super, super great guy. KUDO’s to Steff!!
First time renting a slip at Hilton Head Harbor, and I was pleasantly surprised! Everything you need, and nothing you don't. Very convenient fuel pumps too.
We had a great stay and Seth (hope spelling is right) from the marina was the absolute best. We had a misunderstanding from resort at the beginning that he took care of and then had a little trouble with our jetski that he totally went above and beyond to help!!! Thank You!!
Kudos to the owner, Neal. Could not have been more nice or helpful. Was there after hours to help us when we docked. Picked up some much needed supplies at West Marine for us as well. Definitely will stay here in way back south in the fall!!
Nice stay, Calm night so the face dock was nice and quiet. Nice friendly staff.
The young lady that works in the marina and on the dock was wonderful! Loved the area we will be back!
