May 23rd 2011 As British boaters new to cruising in Florida, it was luck which brought us to Legacy Harbour Marina. Three years on, we still consider ourselves fortunate to be mooring our boat year round in this beautifully maintained and friendly haven. Initially attracted by the sturdy floating docks and pump out at every slip, we’ve discovered other amenities including the heated swimming pool, spotlessly clean facilities, a gym, laundry facilities, an air-conditioned lounge plus complimentary wi-fi and cable television make Legacy Harbour a real home from home. Helpful and friendly staff offer a courteous and efficient service and the public areas are always immaculately kept. We also appreciate the ways in which the management listen to any suggestions from boaters and are always looking for (and effecting) ways to improve and update the amenities. Legacy Harbour is also sited in a most convenient location. A five minute walk brings us to historic Down Town Fort Myers boasting a host of bars and restaurants (often featuring live entertainment) plus a beautiful period theatre, all situated in an area of classic art deco architecture. Five minutes in the other direction and we have a brilliant Publix supermarket. What more could you want from a marina?
