About

Fort George Island Marina is located on the winding banks of the St. Johns River and surrounded by some of North Florida's most historic landmarks, including the Ribault Club built in the late 1800s. The marina is just minutes from Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, and just east of downtown Jacksonville. Additionally, the marina is directly across from where the St. Johns River's mouth meets the Atlantic; this is the closest marina to the Atlantic and the newest marina in the entire Jacksonville area.

This marina is ideally located for any boaters traveling along the ICW looking for a centrally located marina near many attractions, restaurants, and activities. Fort George Island Marina is a deepwater marina with floating docks that can accommodate vessels up to 58ft LOA with beams of 30' and drafts of up to 27'. The marina also offers shore power options of 1x30amp, 2x30amp, and 1x50amp and has both ethanol-free Gas and Diesel fuel on site. The marina also offers fantastic amenities such as onsite showers and laundry, a picnic area with grills, provisions, WiFi, and bikes to borrow. Don't forget, this marina also offers drop-in and haul-out, pump-out services, a travel lift, and has an expansive dry storage rack.

While staying at Fort George Marina, you'll be near historic sites, such as Broward House directly across the street, where you can learn about Fort George Island's maritime history. There are also other historic attractions within 3 miles of the marina, and you can explore this historic area on foot or borrow one of the bicycles from the marina! Boaters will have many nearby destinations to choose from - take a leisurely boat ride to explore the shops, restaurants, and bars on Amelia Island or head to Cumberland Island National Seashore to enjoy the pristine white sand beaches and watch the wild horses roam. Head into Jacksonville where you can visit the Jacksonville Zoo, Metropolitan Park / Everbank Stadium, the Jacksonville Landing, or the Riverside Arts Markets on Saturdays. Whether you're staying for a night or you're taking a vacation out of your stop, Fort George Island Marina will provide you first-class services and amenities - the perfect boating lifestyle you've always imagined.
