Centrally located in Riviera Beach, Florida, the marina is moments away from the famous Peanut Island recreational park. The staff at new port harbor is very friendly and accommodating.
The staff at New Port was friendly and fantastic. When we checked in for our one night stay, we were given the red carpet treatment as if we had just rented for an entire year. Publix grocery and Boat Owners Warehouse is a short walk, easy to provision and get boat parts. The marina is quiet at night and peaceful. Since you are tucked away from the ICW and in a well enforced no wake zone, rocking is at a minimum.
We had some boat troubles and had to extend our stay to get them fixed. It was a holiday weekend and the marina staff was very busy. They extended our stay and also helped us find people to fix our boat
Great staff. Very helpful and responsive. Kristen was terrific helping us with a ride to the grocery. Harrison answered all our question's. One bathroom was under renovation, laundry worked well
Great team at Safe Harbor New Port Cove.
Bathrooms were under construction and only one available. First time using Dockwa and not impressed with the system.
Great little marina. Very clean and tidy. Good vibe. Clean bathrooms and showers. Free WiFi. Super friendly staff. Can recommend.
Great attentive staff. Facilities not so great but being renovated. Marina NOT in a sheltered area so quite a bit of movement felt from inlet and passing boats. Super close to a gorgeous Publix (5min walk). I would go back because it’s well located.
Great staff- very helpful and accommodating. The marina is undergoing improvements and will be even better. The location is a half mile walk to Publix, and a 1.5 mile walk to the ocean beaches. The general area of Riviera Beach is not that nice, but we will definitely come back to this marina!
Fantastic service. Great facility. Staff was very courteous and helpful.
Great staff. Girls in the office are nice and helpful. Poor docks. Overpriced facility. Non floating docks and I am tired of adjusting mooring lines 4 times a day for 3.50 per foot. All docks open to all winds and wind waves, don't give any protection. Found huge cockroach 🪳 in my laundry 🧺. Probably after drying. Do i want to come back? No. Better to be at anchor. Sorry. Try better.
Good People here at the Marina. Plenty of help docking. I have a 40' Sailboat drawing 5'. The privately maintained channel was plenty deep. 1' above low tide on 12/1/23 - I saw 9'5" and above for depth.
The customer service is amazing. Great place to rest for a crossing to the Bahamas.
John, Zack, Kristen and Tia were AWESOME! They made our 3 night stay wonderful! We also met several great people on the dock. Some local and a couple transient. This was a great marina to rest and have resources thru and we are thankful for our stay and all the people there!
The channel is clearly marked. The fuel dock is wide and well protected, easy to dock. Guys on dock are very helpful. We met John, the manager and he friendly welcomed us. We stayed few nights. We will come back!
Not your typical Safe Harbor marina but was the perfect place for us to set up for a Bahamas run. Excellent ship parts store and shopping nearby. Dockmaster and crew were very professional and helpful. Happy to stay there again.
The service at the marina was outstanding! Super friendly staff, and wonderful facility. I would not dock anywhere but here in the future. Thank you to Shelly and John!
Dockage is good but the restrooms and showers are in poor shape. Tiles falling off the wall and no air conditioning… Not the normal quality of a Safe Harbor marina…
We stayed for two nights. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Grounds and docks were well kept. Although the men's restroom/shower was generally clean, it was apparent that it wasn't serviced while we were there and neither were the dock trash cans emptied during our stay. Maybe they were just short staffed at the time. We would stay there again.
The slip was fine. We badly needed a pump out. New boat to us and unable to do manually Only able to pump Out half as your equipment didn’t have enough suction Deck hands very polite and friendly but I don’t think they knew how to use pump out
Helpful staff. Easy to find. Marina safe and clean. Bathroom and shower meh. Limited nearby food options.
We had a great stay at New Port Cove Marina. We had only planned to stay 4 nights but ended up staying for almost two weeks due to weather. Trying to cross over to the Bahamas. The staff is terrific, especially Shelly. The restrooms and shower are very clean and the marina overall is very quiet. There is a Publix within walking distance and a Boat Owners Warehouse within walking distance. Great view of Peanut Island and all the huge mega yachts that go by. You will be able to dingy over to Peanut Island and swim and snorkel. There is also great snorkeling at the base of the bridge, east side.
Great staff, super helpful and friendly.
Not what we were expecting. It’s a nice Boatel, but not a great marina. Noise started at 330am with fisherman showing up, Ice being shoveled.
John the dockmaster and his crew were excellent at helping us dock in a heavy current and windage. Very clean facility.
Stayed one night on the concrete fixed dock. All marina staff we encountered were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The washer/dryer worked well. We would definitely stay here again!
This is a working marina - mostly dedicated to rack storage and freedom rentals. You can’t get to fuel dock or pump out as a result. Also very busy with charter boats. They are nice people but like they can’t even direct you in to the slip. They told me not to take the marked channel but there is no other good way in to the marina. It’s all very chaotic.
Nice shower, solid docks, and a super friendly staff.
Really enjoyed our 3 days at the marina. Beautiful view from the slip and Shelly was amazing. Loved being able to grab fresh coffee every morning. Will definitely come back again!
We have stayed here 2x over a 4 yr period and both times successful stay . Shelly helped us with our ever moving check-out date. Jumped to West End Bahamas from here. Boat stores in walking distance . Laundry on site . Lots of activity on docks with boat club and day charters but that’s good! People enjoying boats.
The Office Administrator Shelley, was prompt answering our questions while we underway in a SV. Patient & Courteous & helpful to book us on Dockwa. Dock help was appreciated as we don’t have bow thrusters.
Stayed 3 nights and the office staff to the deck hands was excellent. Very helpful and professional from the minute we arrived. Clean facility and close to supply stores. Shelly from the office was great and would stay again next time we are in town.
We received a nice welcome. As a transient we choose our slip stays based on amenities with the basics being fuel and pump out. There are so many boats there and not enough water to park them all. This meant no pump out and we chose to go elsewhere to purchase our fuel. We did stay the night but won’t go back.
Great communication from Michael, Dock Master. Helped us out in a pinch.\nDock was concrete 3’ tide. Was unable to get fuel do to boats in the channel, per staff.\n
Worst stay ever in a marina. Dock hands tied up my boat with no spring lines to keep it off the dock and also positioned so I could not connect power & I swung the bow around to accomplish that but not any closer to the front concrete pier. I left for about 24 hrs to visit and stay with a friend only to return to a damaged boat where the front hit and scraped on the pier. A neighbor reported it and they moved the boat back but did not adjust the power cords which stretched to the point of shorting out one plug. I also lost a fender during this event. Attempts to discuss damage with mgt 3 times went unanswered. In addition the shower was gross both dirty and the shower curtain was torn and moldy. This is no “Safe Harbor” My damage likely totals over $2K so there is not a rating low enough - I could not put in a zero.
A working marina with various charters coming and going. Concrete docks. Not a top level marina (like Old Port Cove) but costs a bit less, too. Neighborhood is borderline. Staff ok
The power post for our slip was dead. We used the one next to us and we had high voltage spikes through the night. We are notifying the general manager. The onshore facilities are nice but the power posts all look in need of updating.
Marina is nice and quiet. Close to the ocean but protected. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice area for walking our dog - once we got him onto the dock. There is significant 3-4 foot tide here and we were on the fixed concrete pier - challenging to get 11 year old golden retriever on and off the boat. We would definitely come here again. 6/16/22 - diesel was $6.00. Fast wifi. Overall very good - would have been a 5* for us except getting the dog on and off.
Never responded to my request. This shows the consideration for their customers! Seems like ALL Safe Harbor Marinas have a poor employee attitudes. They must treat their employees terrible!
We liked this Marina and it’s facilities, but there are a few down sides. The fuel dock is situated in a place where the boats that belong to the boat club was docked. We had to get them to move their boats so that we could get to the dock. Also there’s not too much within walking distance to eat at. The Publix and Walgreens however are very close.
This is more of a working Marina. Should not be a Marina for transients. Safe Harbor should really remove their name. Pulled in and we were told no room on fuel dock. We were hoping fill up. We were told we couldn’t pump out. The docks have no lights so be very careful at night. Bathroom facilities were barely ok. We really had an awful stay here. Coming from Safe Harbor in Ft Pierce (Amazing), it was alarming at the difference. Transient Beware
FANTASTIC! I cannot say enough great things about this marina. Everyone was so helpful and nice! We absolutely loved it and plan on using them again!
Called to advise that we were arriving late, they were dismissive and said "oh, we were just leaving, we thought you weren't coming. Let me see what I can find." after a long hold, they sounded like they were doing me a favor by "finding" the slip that I had pre-paid for. Directions to said slip were a bad joke, condition of the slip was terrible. If this is what "corporate marinas" offer, skip them all.
Nice basic marina reasonably priced. In no wake zone but open to wakes of those who ignore it. Jeff
Pump out was broken and we had to backtrack to another facility for pump out. Please advise your customers if this occurs. Cost us a couple hours travel time.
Their customer service was amazing. We always used floating docks in the past and had a hard time figuring out how to tie on a concrete one. Josh came out and showed us how to tie in and provided an extra line to secure the boat. He gave us some ideas on places to fish if the open water was too rough for us and made the overall experience great.
