This harbormaster operation here is top notch. I'd never brought a boat to the town docks, we usually are on moorings. But the email from the staff explained exactly what to expect. These are fixed docks that also require looping spring lines around pilings. Angus came out as we approached and calmly directed the tie up sequence to my novice crew, addressing them by their names and keeping their stress level at zero. Afterwards he briefed us on the worsening shoaling problem in the channel so we could time our departure safely. Just a wonderful stay in a very special place. Our only recommendation would be to add a shower somewhere by the rest rooms, even just a fenced outdoor one.
