Cuttyhunk has changed a lot in the 55 years I've been coming here. WAY more boats and people, but the island still manages to maintain that clean, intimate coastal New England charm
Well maintained moorings in an inner harbor grid that can be tricky to navigate. Friendly and helpful harbor staff, a dinghy dock that never QUITE fills up, newly renovated restrooms at the landing. Lots of people selling something these days, from seafood to burritos to ice cream... All pretty well managed.
