Love this serene spot and decided to stay a second night. Beautiful sunsets and SO quiet. We saw a wild pig in the marsh area across from our boat this morning which was cool. Kate was helpful, responsive and friendly - so were all the people we encountered. Split my bike tire at our last stop, so I was happy to hear that we had use of a golf cart. We took it out to explore for the afternoon since it's a few miles to the nearest place to eat. We chose what looked to be the closest and also casual (they are serious about the dress code) - the 109th Hole. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and service was great. The "Landings pour" is no joke. :) Nice little wine shop by the restaurant had some great wines to choose from as well which was a bonus.
I was worried about entering the creek because of comments, but it was a non-event for us. Quite unnerving when Navionics shows you going over land though! I don't think we saw less than 9 feet at mid-tide (ew need 4). Kate did note that they are currently at a positive tide of 1-1.5 feet, which helps.
Thank you for your hospitality, Kate!
