This was my 3rd stay at Onancock Wharf, and like my visits before to this cute as a button little town, I know that with each visit I can count on all of the basic amenities being there, clean, with easy access
But if there is a knock on the Wharf, which is more nitpicking than criticism, it would be that it does not have a small general store to serve the many boaters who visit, and that the slips lack separation to the public parking that also serves the wharf area. Without screening, visiting boaters are open to car and foot traffic until about 10pm at night, and the annoying parking lot light that stays on all night.
Until the town addresses this issue with some kind of plant or fence screening, I would highly advise visiting boaters to plan on tying up bow first for privacy
