Onancock Wharf Marina is a definite must visit stop. We had planned to be there for a couple days but ended up staying three nights due to the admirals Onley hospital stay. The marina staff were very helpful, making sure we had the use of the loaner vehicle so I could visit and bring my wife back to the boat when she was discharged. Everything worked out except she didn't get to see much of Onancock. We did enjoy the Mallard restaurant next to the Wharf. We enjoyed coffee and doughnuts with the crew of the Knot Alone before we departed on 17th April. The town, creek, and historic homes are so picturesque. You can see and feel that there is a real pride of place in this little town. We will be back when we can experience everything Onancock has to offer. We look forward to returning.
