We docked our boat and were liveaboards at Shipwright for 23 years. It was a really good experience! Quiet, really beautiful, great staff, including everyone's favorite marina cat, Bob! The marina throws a number of fun family events through peak seasons, including great food and entertainment. Onsite shallow swimming pool, nicely equipped bathhouse plus outdoor enclosed showers, several firepit areas, two gazebos, newly built outdoor grilling kitchen, plus additional grilling spots. There is an annual Christmas boat parade just off the docks and a number of other fun local town events. Great restaurants in the area, nice small-town feel shopping merchants, two bank branches nearby. One of the best sushi restaurants in the county! Recommending the area for a short or a long stay. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
