We stayed on a mooring and at in a slip. The floating docks are showing some age but overall its a nice marina. The staff is great. Did not use the facilities. Moorings are "Cuttyhunk" style which means you have to thread a line through an eye held up by about a 3-4ft pvc pole. Not easy but the Harbormaster launch, which is run by the marina, will give you a hand. You can take the launch or dinghy over to the city dock in New Bedford where there are some great restaurants. It's about a mile walk from the marina. Grocery shopping requires an Uber/Lyft ride. Don't miss the Whaling Museum, and we highly recommend the Food Tour.
