This is a gem in the port of New Bedford. Coming in Fishing boats and Wind works hail you with a friendly wave. The staff of Popes Island can’t do enough. The moorings are new and easy to pickup. Launch friendly and willing to take you and pick you up at town restaurants. Evening ice cream run to town popular. Ice delivered to your boat. Locals friendly. Good spot.
