Fort Bragg is a iconic fishing village lost in time. Take your skiff and go exploring. You can park your skiff at many of the local resturants. The Clam Chowder at "the warf" resturant was maybe the best we've ever had. The marina is full with fishing boats with really limited opportunities. That said the harbormaster worked with us and we were assigned a end tie that was perfect! Thanks for working with us! Fort Bragg is a wonderful destination, and we will be happy to return on our trip South.
A warm and welcoming place. Docks are excellent and the facilities very well cared for. The closest restaurants are dinghy accessible or a short 1/4 mile walk as are the closest store and laundry. Showers were free and hot water lasts. While a fishing port the local folks were friendly and helpful. The channel in is narrow but well marked. We have been here twice heading north and going south. Very protected from bad weather.
This harbor is one of the friendliest I've stayed in over 50 years. All those who work here are like a family, friendly, a pleasure to deal with. The harbor master, Anna Newman is exceptionally knowledgable, well suited for the job.
Was my second time using Noyo. Second time my new boat was in the water. Easy access and two boat launch ramps
