Floating docks are in good shape and pricing is good.
Dockmaster Lee is friendly and accomodating, but is not very experienced. We have a cat, and as such we were put on the E end face dock.This dock is very shallow at low tide near the seawall, so we should have gone bow in toward the wall, but he told us incorrectly it did not matter, leading to our rudders sitting on the bottom at low tide. Fortunately they have a skeg to protect them. We would be fine bow in as low water depth was 7'+ at other end of dock.
Location is excellent for access to restaurants and Morehead City waterfront attractions. Power, water and Wifi access is good and restrooms/showers are not far away as there are only 10 slips. No laundry facilities or ice at office. The park onshore has Sat evening concerts (ending at 8:30pm) in the summertime - easy to watch from on board.
Marked down from 5 stars due to lack of full facilities and lack of knowledge of dockmaster putting us on the bottom.
