I’ve sailed to 21 countries, 50,000+nm, and I count my blessings that Great Island Boat Yard is my home port and home base. Extraordinary craftsmanship and work ethic; work done cost effectively; big enough to do sophisticated projects, yet friendly totally hands-on family-owned and small enough to be comfortable and informal - everyone on a first-name basis. Mantra to always go the extra steps to exceed customer expectations. Excellent proactive communication and responsiveness. Immaculate facilities; gorgeous, protected cove that makes hanging out at dock or mooring as much fun as sailing coastal Maine or across an ocean.
