poorly managed marina ,,,very uncaring about slip holders and dock owner..seems like every other day they are creating new rules to make marina life miserable....board of directors difficult to work with unless you are related....they need to go,,,////UPDATE TO MARINA RESPONSE BY JOEY MARINA OPERATIONS.....family owned covered slips were members for almost 40 plus years one of the longest members,,,i was a member on a pettibone slip1 year... sisters rent one of there slips last 5 years,,,,,,,,,,you must have very POOR record keeping....ive painted old boat club building with father twice and have painted signs.......In your response to my review you act like im some kinda stranger to the boat club...I AM DOWN THERE ALMOST EVERY DAY AND TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF MY AREA,,,,Ive been owner of my dads slips last 9 years and yes because of bridge being built and the boundary moving a few feet i now pay city and not club my fees.....Boat club puts up a chain and now i cant park by my dock on dot/city park property.after being able to do so for 40 plus years without a notice or reason,,,,disabled wife now has much farther to walk ...joeys reponse..#You mean she cant walk from other side of chain to dock# VERY COLD AND UNCARING REPONSE...I SAID NO NOT WITHOUT STOPPING AND ADD MORE PAIN TO HER.........BEEN HEARING FROM ALOT OF MEMBERS THIER DISLIKE OF MANAGEMENT .....IM NOT LISTING THEIR NAMES FOR THEIR PRIVACY SAKE BUT YEH ALOT.....AND YES I HAVE CONTACTED YOU BY YOUR PH NUMBER BELOW AND ALL YOU DID WAS MAKE THE SITUATION MORE HARRASING BY ADDING ROCK BARRICADES ON TO TWO ACCESS ROADS,RIGHT AFTER OUR CONVERSATION...,MY GOD,,REDICULOUS....
Easy access to the transient dock. Very calm and quiet. Nice showers and laundry.
Love the new dock flooring! Wish they had internet for people renting a dock space.
We really enjoy staying at Pettibone, but our last visit was marred by common issues that seemingly has no fix. Upon arrival our slip was occupied by another large cruiser. Apparently we were both assigned this large slip, but we would not fit. Other transient slips for cruisers were occupied by day boats who were visiting the restaurant … tied off in front of the large “ reserved for over night guests only “ signs. We found the only empty transient slip and tied off. After talking with marina, we were told we could tie off on the dock with large boat ( not long enough for us both ) or we had to move to another slip as someone else had a reservation for the slip we were in. Too top it off, our dual 30 amp service kept tripping breakers and we could only run one half of our electrical service. It was a pretty frustrating experience.
Quiet. Good dinner and brunch at the restaurant
Only thing that would be nice is if there was WiFi available in the Marina
