I really enjoy Port Jefferson and the Launch service mooring was easy to pick up and very secure. I have two suggestions for improvements that could have made this a 5 star location. One is to try to reduce the wakes from the two launch services (the other is the PJ Yacht Club) through reducing speed and staying to the outside of the field until the need to cut in. The other is to clear up where the launch picks up in town. There seemed to be two locations and they didn't always come to the dock next to the Ferry unless called. This was 4th of July weekend so the wake issue was a lot worse than normal. Still a great place to visit in my opinion.
