We stayed at Powell Valley Resort several times many years ago and it went from ok to horrible so we quit staying there. 2021 new owners took over. We decided to try again as we like the location. It was great! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Stacey is the one that gets our "Employee of our Stay" award, as she was very caring, helpful, and professional. We stayed in the hotel which has been completely redone and was very clean. The boat ramp is great...easy in and out. Food was good as was the ice cream. The hotel rooms come with a covered boat slip which was great. They continue to improve things....it takes times but they are are making great progress. With that said, we did not give 5 stars as there were a few very miner issues. We defiantly recommend Powell Valley Resort! We have already booked our room for next year.
