Easy Convenience to downtown restaurants/bars. New management in 2009 has been making improvements, but doing better than prior management. It IS a city-owned, public marina, so accessibility/security will be an ongoing issue without security gates. But otherwise, great place for attending summertime events, easy access to the Bay. Boaters are polite and helpful.
