Report Review
The Port of Everett Marina is NOT set up at all for transient moorage. We had a group reservation for the Classic Yacht Association. if you go there as a group, get Dock 5 - their lovely new group moorage dock. I guess it was taken, so we were out in the back 40 on the old fuel dock. Dock 4. Don’t go there. It is full of otter poop and is not a well maintained dock at all. After we hosed it off ourselves, as our other classic boats came in, we asked for some assistance with line handling. Their ONE employee who helps with docking was out sick that day. ONE employee in the largest marina on the W. Coast. They didn’t answer the radio when you hailed them. When you called the office, after working your way through the phone system, to press #4 to talk to the office, they just say “Sorry we don’t have anyone to help you today.” The Port of Everett is being developed as a destination marina. Lots of new restaurants and distilleries opening; with more to come. But if the marina operation can’t improve it isn’t worth working your way up the river to dock at the Port of Everett. As for me and the Classic Yacht Association, highly unlikely we will ever come back. They apologized profusely and repeatedly, but at the end of the day they didn’t have the staff to serve us. Very unfortunate. Diane Lander Marian II, Classic Yacht Association.
