Report Review
Overall, a rather disappointing experience. We were assigned a spot out on the old fuel dock. This location is remote from most other Port of Everett facilities and is rather old and decrepit. Lots of otter poop on the dock when we arrived. We could not raise the marina office on VHF channel 16, the frequency they specified in the Waggoners Cruising Guide and on signposts at the marina entrance. Finally had to use the cell phone. The person on the phone did not seem concerned that no one answered the radio. I heard other boats attempting to reach the office unsuccessfully on VHF16. Very unprofessional. They had no staff to assist in docking. The staff at the new fuel dock were particularly unhelpful. Again, no one offered to take a line or to assist in fueling, even though two people were sitting in the fuel dock office. Considering the price of overnight moorage, and the services typically provided at other marinas, Everett simply doesn't measure up. Langley and Edmonds are much better choices in this general area.
