In the midst of Boston’s fabulous waterfront, is a quiet refuge, an understated and well tended marina where all are welcome. Dock master Tom is always on hand to assist arrivals, departures and just about anything else you might need. The rates are quite reasonable (if not the best) for such an enviable location. India Wharf Marina is literally next to the world renowned NE Aquarium. Just a few steps further and you can explore Bostons most desirable locations like Faneuil Hall and the Freedom Trail. For a unique and beautiful walk, I highly recommend The Greenway and the Harbor Walk right from the docks. The fabulous food and nightlife Boston offers is there for your taking. Super easy to get an Uber or Lyft anywhere, but a ride on the MBTA is as local as you can get and there are a number of close options depending on your desired destination.
We sailed our 38 Pearson from Salem to Boston in about 4 hrs. A delightful trip to an incredible and historic port. There is so much do and enjoy and no better place to base your “Boaters Visit” than India Wharf Marina. We will definitely return!
