Love this marina. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Easy walk to town and the golf is awesome.

The entire experience is wonderful. Location is perfect, beautiful views of the harbor. Very experienced dock staff, and a very good restaurant right on site. The Dockmaster Derek is superb. This is our second time visiting, and we will be back again.

I run an 80’ motor yacht out of Ft Lauderdale FL, and do New England every summer. We stayed at Boothbay Oceanside for five days in Aug 2024 and really enjoyed it. The dock staff is fantastic and very helpful. Docks are very nice and power is good. All the important stuff! Location is great. Very quiet and no tourist foot traffic as with the other side of harbor. We will definitely be returning next season!

Great location and facility (but no showers!). VERY friendly and helpful staff. Ocean Prime - BHOGR's dockside restaurant - is right by the slips and a lovely place for appetizers & cocktails. We've been to most of the marinas in Boothbay Harbor and BHOGR is definitely the nicest, but also pricey.

Connor, Derek and Crew were professional and accommodating. As expected the docks and facilities are well maintained. The view, ambience and food at Coastal Prime is a must have experience while in the area. The dock is close to all the happenings in town just across the footbridge. It is always a treat to stay at this resort and is our first choice whenever we are in boothbay.

Great place to stay with wonderful views. There are bathrooms but no showers, we just booked a room since we needed an extra bed and that solved the shower problem. The restaurant was also excellent. We stayed during the week in early September and it was great because there weren't a ton of people in town, but the weather was perfect. We will be back.

We’ve been staying at the hotel for years. Love it. We booked a slip at the marina, arrived, and found out the were NO bathroom or shower facilities for marina guests. I asked for use at any if the resort bathrooms, gyms, fitness centers. Was told to “go rent a day pass at the YMCA”. Wouldn’t even provide a discounted room. Been boating my whole life, love the resort, just don’t arrive by boat.

You can’t beat the location! Also, the communication via the messaging on the app was extremely helpful. The only thing I would say was missing for a full-service marina would be a separate bathroom and shower area for boaters. This is not a dealbreaker for us, but it would be a lovely added bonus. We hope to return soon.

Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Golf Resort charges 50% more than most facilities in Maine for a mooring. This would be fine if you could use/visit amenities of the resort which are nice…but that is very hard. Moorings are > .5 miles from hotel and restaurant(other side of the harbor) and they don’t offer launch service. The mooring field is also exposed so rolly in any southerly breeze. Also very little assistance with finding the mooring field(no map…just “near this building” etc.). Easier to just anchor there in more protected area or find another facility closer to town.

What an enjoyable experience. The staff is top notch, the restaurant so good, and the golf picturesque. What more could you ask for?

Just completed another outstanding stay at Boothbay Oceanside. The docks are great and the dock hands are outstanding. Always wanting to help. Brings your amazon packages down to your boat and takes away your trash. Very secure. The restaurant is great too. Outstanding sushi. Last but not least is the gold course. All golfers, a must stay. First class facility and docks. 5 star resort and amenities. If you are a golfer, this course is a MUST!! Jeff the DM could not have made our stay any better. From the time we arrived to the day we departed he was attentive to all our needs. Thank you Jeff, we will be back next year.

Don't go here. They do not want transient boaters. No services or amenities, not even help with docking lines. Staff pleasant.

This is a nice marina. The docks are beautiful and it is conveniently located by the walking bridge to town. The highlight of our stay was the dock hand Alex. She was so friendly- we felt so welcomed and comfortable. She was helpful and accommodating with whatever request we had. We booked another stay before we left. Can’t wait to get back!

We stayed here to play golf. Course is Excellent. The restaurant here is also very good. Good location convenient to town but a little quieter

Great spot, well appointed marina.

Great view....were on new docks south of the restaurant. Easy in and easy out. Will definitely return to one of our favorite harbors.

Be advised the experience is very different then advertised if you are placed on their lobster dock. The WiFi doesn’t reach this location. If you plan to access the resort or the restaurant/bar it is a far walk up through a gravel parking lot to a busy road and then back down to the hotel. Restrooms are also in the lobby of the resort which again is a far walk. Upon a mid day arrival we did not get dockside assistance as dockhands were off site. The hotel and marina are clearly disjointed. These little issues are compounded by the expensiveness of the dock fees and restaurant. Hoping they can improve their focus on the boating experience as the harbor views are nice.

Was a good stay. Only downside- no showers. And loud late night rock and roll live band bar directly across harbor. Harbormaster Jeff made all the difference in our stay. Friendly, skilled, happy and active in solving any issue.

A+…in every way. First of all, the town is beautiful. But the facilities are wonderful. Jeff and his team go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. We will most certainly be back!

Great people ,location and amazing food

This trip was the real-deal! From the time that we docked to this morning when we left the marina staff was attentive, the services were outstanding. Add in spectacular weather and a round of golf at the best course I have ever played at. We will come back and recommend it to all of our friends.

Take a hint from this marina's full name and realize that the focus is going to be on the golfers staying in the motel. Dockage was exorbitantly expensive, and there were none of the usual amenities: no showers, no laundry; the wifi didn't work, and a courtesy car would have been nice to have for provisioning, since Uber wasn't available.

Lovely marina and great service

Great staff and lovely location. No WiFi on the lobster dock and I hope they will add a path from the lobster dock to the restaurant. Restaurant sushi is fabulous.

Great staff. Simple easy dinghy dock, never full that I had to go elsewhere. Take advantage of the town municipal dinghy dock as well. Its closer to town and was never full either.

A very pleasant stay. Efficient crew, clean and tidy docks that everything works on! Great restaurant (sushi was terrific). Will be staying here again!

Boothbay Harbor a fun mix of restaurants, shopping, and working fishing docks. The resort put us at their "Lobster Dock" which is south of the resort. Beware, no direct dock access to the resort/restaurant, to get there was a 10 minute walk up the street. The resort does not have shower/restroom facilities for marina clients.

A very nice ocean front hotel and restaurant.

Excellent service by Marina personnel. They were on top of our arrival by calling twice in advance. The dock facility was new and uncluttered. We were fortunate to slip right against the restaurant gangway. Easy access to the BHOGR. restaurant and hotel facilities are outstanding. It provides a new and high level of luxury service for the Harbor area. A couple of preferences I would like to see added would be a shower facility. That said, we knew it coming it there wasn’t one, so it’s a minor point of future improvement should the owners consider. If you have a vessel with an older electrical system & battery charger, you may experience shore power breaker tripping. We’ll be updating ours. Wonderful time and we will return!

Huge mistake. Paid double the going rate for a mooring in the area with the assumption we would be deep into the harbor, where the resort is. We were nearly .5 nm away. Quite a dinghy ride in the conditions when we arrived. Out in the middle with nothing to break the onslaught of lobster boat wakes circling us starting way before sunrise. Dishonest to not disclose the mooring locations in the Dockwa description or their website. On a good note, the young man who met us on our way in was quite pleasant.

Great facility and docks. We stayed on a mooring which was very sturdy. The Dockmaster actually lead us to the mooring in his launch. Great service In a scenic and friendly town!
