This is a do-it-yourself dock in front of the Westin Hotel on the Savannah River. Not a marina. No one to answer VJF calls. Figure out how to hook up to the electricity. Exposed to waves from boat and ship traffic. BUT, it is only a short walk to the Belles Ferry going across to downtown Savannah. We slept comfortably enough on our Cape Dory 28. If you don't plan to take the free ferry across to downtown restaurants and tours, consider staying next door at IGY Savannah Harbor Marina, a full service marina with slips off the river.
