Very unhappy. We had a mechanical problem, and after we arrived, asked for another day. This was late in the day so that no one else had requested the slip. Early the next morning, our mechanical problem was resolved and we were able to move on. We asked that our slip could be Credited for another visit or canceled given that they had the rest of the day to fill it. , the weather was deteriorating, and we needed to move. They refused and took our $200. On the other hand, Perry marina changed our reservation several times at the last minute to accommodate both the weather and our mechanical problem. Safe Harbor chose not to be flexible and refuse to give us credit. I understand that they have a policy but flexibility is very appreciated. I have removed my name from the waiting list for a long-term Safe Harbor spot. I don’t want to deal with the company that puts policy over people. Well the docks were nice and the electrician was especially kind, the office personnel were not. I would not recommend this marina, although it is very nice. It has a corporate mentality and not a boater mentality.
