This member of the Almar family consists of five marinas. A more ideal location would be hard to find, with its colorful waterfront area, including shops, restaurants and local attractions, such as Heinold’s First and Last Chance Saloon, once the favorite haunt of the famous author.

Nearby are the Oakland Museum, the Oakland Zoo, a newly developed family-oriented park at Union Point Basin and Preservation Park with its dozens of restored Victorian homes. The marina is within walking distance of an Amtrak train station and the San Francisco Bay ferry system.
