Initially, I tried to get in to the City Dock. Dockmaster called and said there wasn't any room there, but he did have a slip available at Seaport, so I jumped at it, with no regrets. This place is well withing walking distance of several restaurants and shops. It does get busy in the channel and also with the nearby airport, but everything settles down by early evening for a nice, relaxing sleep.
