The guidebooks warned of the current but combined with odd wind gusts made docking impossible. We used a mooring ball in the outer harbor and fortunately the weather was okay to do so. The harbormaster and staff are top notch and efficient. The harbor is very tight, no finger piers and no center pilings. And there are boats rafted together in the channel so getting around isn't easy. The beach wi-fi was better than what we have at home. Beautiful remote location on the Vineyard and very well priced.
