We have stayed there many times (30 plus) and love the area. We showed the area to two new boaters who travelled with us. Unfortunately, this time we had a bad experience with an extremely loud, drunk bunch that felt it OK to blast music from 6PM through 1AM, despite many boaters complaining. They turned it up and partied a few boats over. The unattended boat with music at Max volume was next to us and it was so loud, we could not talk to each other. We had to pack up the kids (2 yo and 5 yo) and get away from the noise. The marina must take steps to control this as I was surprised to see it allowed.
Most boaters have heard of the rough reputation here but we had not personally experienced any issues and convinced our guests that they would love it. The other marinas on the Island understand the importance of controlling this undesirable activity while allowing everyone to have their fun.
We will not be returning until an obvious change in management is in place.
