This is a diamond in the early stages (did not wish to say in the rough). It has a very nice facility with ultra clean bathroom and hot shower.Nice view from the restaurant for amazing sunsets- food and drinks (closes at 9pm). The grounds of the hotel (with heated pool) is kept immaculate, has a manmade small beach…you can use a kayak or PB at no cost! The staff is super nice! So why only a 4 star? They don’t really understand the boating world - recently purchased the property and joined Dockwa…also no one can help if you run into issues for example they assigned us a mooring ball number but, the mooring ball did not exist! So, we took the next one that was unassigned! At tide change at 4am I was hearing a bag on the hull that felt like a mooring ball but then, a second bang on the opposite side nearly simultaneously! Went to look to find we had now two mooring balls… you guessed it right….we dragged the mooring ball some 30 feet (low time the depth was 26 feet)! We are a small sailboat, I can only imagine a 36 footer…! So until they invest some time and resources (I am sure they will), I gave them 4 stars! Stay away from mooring ball SC4156 and SC4154…. But do go- well worth the visit and food!
