Set just inside the mouth of the Tred Avon River, Hinckley Bachelor Point offers a breathtaking vantage over the Chesapeake Bay. Surrounded by 14 peaceful acres—including a dedicated wildlife sanctuary—this premier marina is a true haven for yachtsmen. The protected eight-acre basin features 80 deep-water slips for vessels up to 120 feet, complemented by a 75-ton travel lift, expansive dry storage, and three indoor storage buildings. With over 6,000 square feet of dedicated service space, the facility is fully equipped for expert mechanical work, repowers, and refinishing. Here, the natural beauty of Maryland’s Eastern Shore meets Hinckley’s hallmark service and craftsmanship—ushering in a new era of yachting on the Chesapeake.
Very lovely marina with well maintained grounds and facilities. They have a pool which is great for the kids or those really hot summer days after working on the boat. Very nice and professional staff and an excellent service department. Many of the slip-holders are active cruisers and they are all very friendly and social. Not far from the town, restaurants, and waterfront park in Oxford. Quiet and a really natural environment full of wildlife.
Beautiful spot. Brand new floating dock. Small but nice pool. Friendly staff. We loved this place. Bikes to take the 1 Mike trip to town. Will become a favorite.
Awesome place. Very quiet and serene. Clean, well-kept property with excellent facilities. Docks are fixed and a bit older, but worked fine. Highly recommend.
Great marina and staff! Very attentive to the reservation process through departure. Used the bikes and rode through the quaint town of Oxford, had lunch and ice cream! Will definitely stay here again.
great facilities, clean and well lit, nice amenities, easy ingress/egress.
Nice , helpful crew, clean facilities, cheap laundry, well protected. The only negative is the fixed docks could use some work. We would return when in the area.
Charming, quiet, and calm. Beautiful location, great people, nice pool, showers and great bikes to go to dinner and sight-see. Mrs. Campbell meet us and put us onto the regatta the next day as well as the band at the yacht club that night. Wonderful experience.
The docks were decent and the power was stable, but the shore-side bathrooms and pool were great. Wi-Fi was not too strong at the end of A dock, but acceptable. We had a great stay.
Really super nice family run place. They had a nautical flea market at the time and their dog Molly made friends with ours.
Great find. Perhaps the cleanest, best looking working boatyard marina I have ever stopped at. Clean, well maintained fixed docks. Very clean and recently painted bathhouse and shower facility. Clean, well-kept laundry room. Well maintained bicycles to borrow. Beautiful rural setting. Short bike ride into a truly picturesque historic rural Maryland eastern shore town. Approach perhaps looks tight, but plenty of water and maneuvering room.
