Great location except inlet channel is full of small boats fishing in the channel, very dangerous inlet for any boat over 28'. Marina's structure is nice & clean but layout is horrible. There are 2 launch ramps for small boats, on the back side so the marina is a constant wake washing machine around high tides in the inlet. Do not try to stay overnight on your boat , you'll rock more from the wakes than anchoring in the ocean. The other problem is no parking, even for slip holders on weekends. The parking is taken up by the drop in boats/trailers & the head boats customers. Slip holders & transients are on your own. The 3 security guards (Paul, Chuck & Tony) are the nicest friendliest people you'll ever meet but the office & yard crew are typical state workers. Anything you ask them to do the answer is always no. Very different employee attitude from a private marina even thought it's priced high dollar, don't expect the service.
