The staff at this marina are very helpful, and the actual marina has a pretty setting and great facilities. I had booked well in advance, but, without being told this, was given a slip that is actually in the adjacent Oxford Boatyard, which I guess Safe Harbour has annexed. I realise Memorial Day weekend is a busy one, but the docks/amenities are totally different. Old docks and finger piers, a 15 minute walk out on the road to get to the marina bathhouse/office/pool/facilities. There is a small, old restroom facility at the boatyard. I was charged the same price as I would have paid at a nice new dock, close to all the luxuries. (Price higher than last year.) As sailors, my crew and I made the best of it, and enjoyed Oxford, but a free bottle of wine at check-in didn’t quite compensate for the very different facilities at the boatyard.
