Report Review

If there were a stereotypical Canadian resort, this would be it. Sometimes we boaters use the word 'rustic' as a codeword to mean rundown to some degree. But saying that Montebello is rustic is a compliment of the highest order. It is beautiful from bow to stern. The log construction is unique, and the hotel lobby is jawdropping. The marina is quite good though maneuvering requires a small bit of a steady hand. It's shaped oddly, though there was no trace of a current. (The layout is different every season.) The meals in the restaurant are very pricey but stupendous. This is a 5-star resort with all kinds of things to do. You name it, it's got it. Don't let it intimidate you. It's worth it.
