This was my first time using the marina. I have a boat in another Harbor, and wanted the ease of walking into downtown with a group of business associates. This facility is top notch. The docks themselves are state of the art. Beautiful, great power availability, well placed cleats. The building that they have built is great. It has a nice office, restrooms, retails shop, and place to relax. Most importantly, the people were very helpful. From the owner Randy, Manager Mark, to Tony, Bob and Hans. When I called ahead to let them know I was arriving, Tony and Bob met us at our specific dock to assist.
The area is very safe. I did not notice any rocking from waves, and our boat was there overnight. Using Dockwa was very simple, and overall it was just a great experience. Whether you are from out of town, or simply looking to change up one of your weekends in Chicago, this was a great experience. - Brian (40' Sea Ray)
