Report Review
We arrived at Southport Marina, Kenosha, WI, Friday Oct 8 after 5 PM and headed for the fuel dock, not knowing if our Dockwa reservation (shortly before 4 PM office close) would be waiting for us. There came Tom, who had waited for us to help tie up and gave us instructions to our slip (even though it was after hours for him) - thanks Tom!
We then headed to slip C165 but found it occupied (not good with the office closed and Tom long gone home)! But all turned out well as after turning around to recheck for the correct dock, we returned and took the next open slip about ten slips down, hoping that no else was out that late.
Saturday morning, we enjoyed visiting the Farmers Market, and especially the Civil War museum and visited with several sailors back at the slip, then it was time to return to Racine.
All in all, we would visit Southport using Dockwa again!
