Zahniser’s moorings have been one of our go to stops along the way. Before they sold to Safe Harbor a ball was around 30$ a night. When Safe Harbor first took over they changed the rate policy and went to a dollar per foot. For our boat that was a cost of $42. Imagine my surprise when we pull in November 2022, pick up a ball and call the office to register. Was told to register through Dockwa and found the new rate is $1.50 a foot!! That’s a big jump for a mooring! We were just doing an in and out so didn’t even get off the boat to use any of their amenities. That’s the most we have EVER paid for a mooring. I’m thinking we will not be back.
