Edgartown is one of our favorite harbors. There are great resturants, great shops and much to do. Mooring field is large. Harbormaster has been stricter about restricting smaller boats like our 36 sail to the furthest moorings. so unless you have a great dinghy take the launch. I hope they change this policy. Pumpout boat is readily available. Shower facilities fair. Staff very responsive. In general a well run harbor. Transportation around the island easy and free with buses. Visit the lighthouse, Katama beach, or just walk around town. Or just have a mudslide at the Seafood Shanty on the upstairs deck. One of the more picturesque harbors and towns on the island.
