I love Edgartown Harbor. The mooring field is well protected and the harbor master is very helpful and professional. The dinghy dock is starting to get ridiculous. It's always had the deserved rep of being three deep at times. It's now all the time. Boaters come and spend a ton of money in town, which must generate local revenue. They really need a larger or additional dinghy dock, even if it's a bit further from town.
Update Sep ‘21. Even off season the dinghy dock is still 2-3 boats deep. This would be a 5 star location, if not for this issue. Several were grousing about it. Some tied up closest had days of rain water in them. Sends a ‘we don’t really want you here message’. Otherwise, staff and the rest are excellent.
