Despite making my reservations on the day and hour they became available, I was placed on the last mooring at the end of the mooring field, at least 1 mile from town. And on top of that, it was a mooring for power boats, so I was aground at low tide! They were very apologetic and moved us to a more favorable mooring, but how could something like this have happened?
The facilities are woefully inadequate - worst dinghy dock in New England. No real shower/bathroom facilities to speak of.
Its as if the mooring community is an afterthought.
