There was a lot of confusion related to our mooring. We were assigned yellow 86. As we approached it for a pickup, we went aground. Apparently the Harbor master said the mooring was in the wrong place and should not be used. This is halfway into the season so they obviously knew. Ultimately they were able to pull us off with no damage but then it took another 30 minutes to figure out who was on what mooring, and finally assign us a suitable mooring. We’ve been to Edgartown several times and we really expected better professionalism from the staff. Edgartown itself however was a very nice visit.
