About
Established by 36 charter families in 1928, we are nestled on the Indian River Estuary, a part of the Intracoastal Waterway, just a short distance from the Atlantic Ocean via the Ponce de Leon Inlet.
SYC is an active member of the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs, registered with the Yachting Club of America, extending reciprocity to fellow club members. As members of the FCYC and Yachting Club of America, our members have access to over 700 yacht clubs throughout the U.S. Our active boating community at SYC takes us to many interesting boating destinations. You don't have to own a boat, our destinations are easily reachable by car and anyone can participate in any part of the cruising weekend plans.
