I cannot speak highly enough about Safe Harbor Rockland. Chris, the dockmaster, and Melvin, the #1 seasoned dockhand, are absolutely incredible. From the moment they tie you up, they are constantly asking if there is anything else they can do. Melvin would stop by the boat several times a day to check on us and see if there was anything we needed. The showers are some of the best we’ve seen. They include towel, floor mats, personal products and are impeccably clean. There’s no charge to use the washers and dryers which is the first we’ve seen in our cruising days. It is a short walk into town which is nice for the exercise and it is also much quieter there than the marinas on the town docks. And if you don’t want to walk they have courtesy cars which are one year old Ford Explorers. I wish I had a car that nice. They are getting ready to do a major expansion of this marina and I would encourage everyone to consider it if they’re staying in Rockland. Totally a first class operation!
