Firstly - the staff/team here is amazing! From our arrival, when having difficulty locating the assigned mooring ball, LuLu stayed on the VHF with us guiding us continuously until we finally located the mooring (this was my fault as Rockland had sent a mooring field map and guidance well ahead of time, but after about 9 hours of transit to get there, I was a bit bleary-eyed...). Chris, the dockmaster was terrific and provided great customer service and suggestions, as did the rest of his team!
One evening as we were heading back to the mooring in our dinghy the engine quit... One of the staff, Joe, quickly arrived in their inflatable and said "I saw you were having engine trouble so I'm here to give you a tow"!
We felt very protected and cared-for by everyone on the team at SH Rockland.
The following morning I contacted their service department. They came later that day (I didn't have to be there) removed the engine, took it to their facility, worked on it, called me to update me, and then re-installed the engine on the dinghy, and replaced the fuel in the gerry-can with clean fresh fuel! Thank you to Fred Lemon, and his team, for such customer service oriented and quality work!!
The facilities at SH Rockland appear to be very very new - the bathrooms/showers and laundry room are all exceptionally clean, with towels, soap/shampoo, and laundry detergent & softener provided!
And they have courtesy cars to borrow so you can provision easily!!
All of the Safe Harbors we have been to have been very good, but SH Rockland is a notch-above and hopefully is the standard to which Safe Harbor aspires for all of their marinas as they continue to improve their facilities!
