We had a great experience docking at SH Rockland last night. Although the marina is under construction, Chris and his team found us a nice protected spot on their floating dock. When completed, this marina will be one of the most highly sought after transient facilities in Maine. We highly recommend.
Although Rockland could use a little sprucing up there are still lots of good places to go and eat. The restaurant at the marina was closed (Tuesdays) so we took the short drive to 13 Oak using the SH courtesy car. Great food and experience. For breakfast we tried the Rockland Cafe. Good breakfast with a very local vibe.
All in all, we had a very great time and can't wait to se the facility when its done. We'll be back.
