We are rookie ICW folks, so Belhaven Marina was only our second Marina stay, but I’m afraid we’re gonna be sorely disappointed by future stays elsewhere. Gregg, the owner/operator of the marina was so great at making us feel welcome. The facilities are small, but I think that’s part of the charm. Gregg has set it up like you’re home. He’s from a Navy family so that is the theme of his very clever decorating. The bathroom is impeccably clean, and the laundry was great. There’s a nice lawn running down the pier (alongside dockage on each side) so you feel like you can grab a lawn chair and chillax. We didn’t need his assistance, but we Gregg helping another captain with a car ride somewhere. He’s laid back and service oriented. It sounds like he’s got plans to expand, and Belhaven the town is on the upswing. There’s an excellent farm to table restaurant literally 400 ft from the Marina. It’s a must.
