Belhaven Marina is a small gem tucked away on the Belhaven waterfront. Manager Greg is a people person who thrives on taking care of ICW cruiser's needs. He has waited for our late arrival, driven us to the grocery store, dispensed advice, and picked up wrenches. You will not find a more friendly and protected place to pull in for the night or week. The docks are fixed pilings along a bulkhead. Don't worry about it! There is only about 1' of wind driven tidal range, and Greg has put out plenty of big round fenders so you don't have to deal with it. All docking is alongside. Adjacent to your space is a perfect mowed grass space. The marina office doubles as a casual beer and wine bar. There are picnic tables, a grill, and a perfect little gazebo to enjoy a glass of wine and the sunsets, which are incredible here. The bathrooms and showers are comfortable, well ventilated, clean and they provide fresh clean towels for you. A treat. Within 1-2 blocks are everything a small coastal can offer. There are several excellent restaurants, led by Spoon River River Cafe, a well stocked Ace Hardware, and enough charm to lure you back every season.
